Nippon Steel & Sumikin Engineering is awarded the contract for “ Bundle Phases 2 Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation of Wellhead Platforms, Associated Pipelines, Brownfield Modifications and Tie-ins ”

Nippon Steel & Sumikin Engineering Co., Ltd. Japan, (“NSENGI”) has been awarded a Contract for “Bundled Phase 2 EPCIC of Wellhead Platform, Associated Pipelines and Tie-ins” from PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (referred to as 'PTTEP'). This award is for construction of a maximum of 25 Wellhead Platforms and around 165km subsea pipeline installed in Arthit and Bongkot Field for 6 years.

All of the Wellhead Platform's EPC work will be carried out by Thai Nippon Steel & Sumikin Engineering & Construction Corp., Ltd, a subsidiary company of NSENGI, and NSENGI's own vessel “Kuroshio or Kuroshio II” will execute Offshore Installation Works. Project completion plans on June,2021.

NSENGI has constructed and installed more than 200 Wellhead Platforms and 2,000km subsea Pipeline in Gulf of Thailand. In addition to this track record, and based on this recent award, NSENGI is willing to contribute to the further development of the Thai energy industry.
