There have been a number of fraudulent emails reported to us recently. These emails are sent by persons claiming falsely to be an officer, a director or an employee of NIPPON STEEL ENGINEERING CO., LTD.
These emails typically request for payments, personal information, bank account information, IDs & passwords, or offer job positions at ours, or offer business arrangements with us, or request email recipients for services such as debt collection.
These are hoax, even though these emails referred to as "phishing" or "spoofing" may appear to be legitimate by unauthorized use of our company name, logo, address, an existing officer's and/or an employee's name, etc.
We do not send such emails in unsolicited manner to our customers, business partners, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors.
Unless otherwise you expect contact from us by email, please do not open such suspicious emails or follow any links provided therewith or click to open any attachments thereto. Instead we advise the recipients of such emails to simply delete them.
