NIPPON STEEL AND SUMIKIN ENGINEERING CO., LTD. (NSENGI) (Makoto Takahashi, Representative Director and President) has received an order for the Revamping of No.2 Continuous Galvanizing Line from NS BlueScope(Thailand) Limited, a subsidiary of NS BlueScope Coated Products which is a 50/50 joint venture of Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (hereinafter "NSSMC") and BlueScope Steel Limited, Australia (hereinafter "BSL") focusing on coated products business (hot-dip galvanized steel sheets, painted steel sheets and roll-formed products) throughout Southeast Asia and the U.S.
NSENGI will revamp the existing line for the production of SuperDymaTM, which is one of NSSMC's strategic Coated Products which will be the first production outside of Japan.
NSENGI was highly evaluated for their abundant plant construction records and excellent manufacturing technologies of Galvanizing Lines and was awarded a Full Turn-Key contract for this project from design, manufacturing, supply, installation, civil work and operating assistance.
As being awarded a big Full Turn-Key order from its largest production site, Thailand factory, we will continue to contribute to the business development of NS Bluescope Coated Products.
Furthermore, we will also comply with revamping and expansion demands of Galvanizing Line in Southeast Asia market and will be active towards potential projects.

[Outline of SuperDymaTM]
One of NSSMC's unique, strategic products, is a hot-dip alloy coated steel sheet with a coating composition consisting of zinc as the main substrate in combination with aluminum(about 11%), magnesium(about 3%) and a trace amount of silicon. SuperDymaTM possesses excellent corrosion resistance, compared with conventional hot-dip galvanized steel.
