Nippon Steel Engineering's subsidiary company "Steinmuller Babcock Environment GmbH" has been awarded the contract for the modernization of waste to energy plant in Ludwigshafen in Germany.

The scope of supply and services includes planning and construction of the boiler system including grate and ancillary equipment for two lines.

The client is the municipal operator GML - Gemeinschafts-Mullheizkraftwerk Ludwigshafen GmbH. Commissioning of the second line is planned for summer 2024.
