  NIPPON STEEL ENGINEERING CO., LTD. is involved in construction of the world's first full-scale floating wind farm in waters off the Fukushima coast, based on our wide-ranging past experiences in offshore steel structure design and construction. We are contributing to the development of the renewable energy sector and the stability of energy supply as an offshore contractor capable of handling construction work on both types of offshore wind farm. This includes fixed-bottom wind farm projects-the market for which is expected to flourish in the coming years.

  Of the 17 large-scale geothermal power plants in Japan, NIPPON STEEL ENGINEERING CO., LTD. has been responsible for the construction of steam production equipment and pipelines on ten of them. We use this experience to provide excellent equipment that is easy to operate and maintain. We also plan and build eco-friendly equipment focused on harmony with the residents of the area and the precious flora and fauna. Thus, we shall continue to contribute to the effective use of Japan's geothermal resources, whose reserves are the third largest in the world.
